The 10th Annual Pumpkin Walk

will be held on Friday October 24th at the Washington Town Park

from 6:30pm to 10pm.  

In case of a flood of Biblical proportions, the Walk will be held the following evening.

 Trick or Treating will

take place along the Walk

from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

 There will also be hayrides, a bon fire, and other surprises.

 Volunteers to help with serving refreshments at the Gazebo

would be greatly appreciated.

   Anyone interested in helping out in any way can call John or Georgette Keator at (413) 623-0088 before 9pm Monday through Friday.

 Donations of Candy, Money, and pumpkins will be collected at the Washington Transfer Station during the month of October.

 

The Washington Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients from the class of 2008:  Megan Blessing; Thomas Cairns, III; Trevor Daniels, Dana Drugmand, Kelly Grogan and Nicole Lussier.  Congratulations and best wishes! 

The Committee will hold a bake sale at the Town Hall on Election Day, November 4. Donations of baked goods:  pies, cakes, breads, cookies, etc. will be gratefully accepted.  All proceeds will go toward the funding of future scholarships.

 Volunteers are also needed to staff the baked goods table for an hour or two on Election Day.  If you would be willing to help in this regard, please contact Linda Levernoch 623-8309 evenings.

 What a HOOT!

The Becket Washington School PTO wishes to thank the entire community for their remarkable support at the second annual Hilltown Hoot.  Blessed once more with blue skies above and fantastic homegrown music filling the air, it was a spectacular fun-filled day for all ages.
